“OPHTHALMICA Brillengläser” is an independent RX-lens lab which manufactures high performance RX lenses together with high quality lens coatings and tintings. “OPHTHALMICA Brillengläser” is a family-owned, medium-sized lens manufacturing company based in Rathenow/Brandenburg and celebrated its 30th birthday in 2022.
The laboratory uses the most modern equipment and processes for surfacing, polishing, cleaning, lacquering, coating and tinting.

We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality products made in Germany: This means that the complete generating, polishing of lenses, the colouring, the lacquering and the anti-reflection coating are all conducted in Rathenow/Brandenburg.
All the lenses that you need, are provided by us with our in-depth experience and precision in the optical industry. "OPHTHALMICA Brillengläser" is a full-range manufacturer with a wide range of products, such as single vision, bifocal, trifocal, varifocal and freeform solutions. Furthermore, we also have special lenses, allowing us to cover nearly all the demand on prescription lenses. Both, organic as well as mineral lenses are available and produced in Rathenow. This includes also the AR coating and colouring in our state-of-the-art plant in Rathenow.
For the manufacturing of lenses, we employ 30 skilled engineers with significant years of experience in the production process of lenses. Your OPHTHALMICA team discusses with you individually your personal requests with a high level of professionalism and expertise.
